"Delphi" must be installed on your PC.

In short, Delphi is a RAD (Rapid Application Development) system that combines an integrated editor, visual form builder, help system, compiler and linker. The latest version is Delphi 7, but any older 32 bits Delphi version (starting from Delphi 2) will do for our lessons and code examples.

The newest version of Delphi can be bought directly from Borland, from most software vendors and shops (some might also have a small discounted stock of older versions).

The "Delphi Personal" edition can also be obtained from Amazon (see DelphiLand's home page for a link).
