You need the Delphi development system (also known as "Delphi IDE"). This contains a number of "visual components", libraries, a code editor, a debugger, a compiler, and a linker. All these elemenents are integrated into an easy to use RAD-system (RAD = Rapid Application Development). Delphi exists in various versions (Personal, Professional, Enterprise,...) and it's available from most software stores. You can also order it directly from Borland (www.borland.com). Also older versions of Delphi are good for learning, but don't go for versions older than Delphi 3. |
